Family Fun Day.....
What a great day off we had today! The day started at about 8:30 a.m., when I opened my eyes....felt absolutely wonderful! Doug was up already and the girls, of course, were still asleep. Doug and I are still working faithfully through our Dave Ramsey financial program. When faithfully working through paying off all debt along with paying $3.85/gallon (thank God for COSTCO) let me tell you, things have been quite tight around here! One of the essentials, according to Dave Ramsey, is to celebrate when goals are reached. That's what we did today! We paid off a debt last month so today was the day to have some fun....we surprised the girls by taking them to the movies to see "Prince Caspian"--great movie for you Narnia fans! Afterward we headed to Islands to eat. Both were such splurges for us!
We continue to seek after God as our ultimate provider during these times. He is so good and has continued to amaze us time after time!
