Great blessing....

Many of you know that Chelcie is going on a trip with her school to Washington, D.C. in March (if you didn't know, now ya do ; ). Thanks to family, we are able to begin to whittle away at the balance we owe for this trip. I was able to make an online payment today and began going through the website of the travel company (www.worldstrides.com). I found that there is a division of World Strides that offers the same trip but for Christian schools. This trip covers points that Chelcie will never hear such as the faith of our founding fathers, God's role in our nation's history, references to God in historical documents and memorials, etc. This was an amazing find for me. I contacted World Strides and asked about the Christian Discoveries trip and if there was any information that they could send me that I could use for Chelcie. The rep asked me to hold and came on the line and let me know that the students receive information and a journal for the trip and there is a different journal and information for the Christian Discoveries trip. Her supervisor approved for her to send me all of the information and the journal that the students would receive on the Christian Discoveries trip so that we can go over it together before she goes. I was so excited. This is such a blessing to us because I know that she will not get this information in her history class, on this trip or in the media. It is up to parents to "Train a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

Such a blessing at the end of a very challenging week for me!
