means that we got out of town today! I took the girls and their friends (sisters: Ashley and Madesyn) to Yucaipa Regional Park. Lolo took the day off work to come with us too! We got out there in about 45 minutes. This is a really fun park that has a lake and waterslides. My friend Terri and I found it a couple of years ago when we were looking for a fun (and cool!) place to take our Brownie troop and we have loved going out there a couple of times each summer. We packed lunch, snacks and sunscreen and settled in for a great day. The girls and Lolo had fun on the slides and I had a very relaxing time catching up on the latest People magazine! The water was very refreshing whenever I did take a dip. Reluctantly, we headed back to the heat of the desert. Not sure what is happening weather wise here but it should not be this HOT this late in the summer....oh well, it's thoughts of 75 degree January that keeps me going!
