4 Busy Whites

We are so proud of Madison.....she and her friend Natalie worked so hard on their entry into the Science Fair and placed 1st in the 5th grade submissions! They pondered the question: How do you improve your batting average? They did such a great job and we are so proud of their hard work being recognized!

I have been pestering her to bring her board home so I could get some pictures of her final product and her ribbon!!!

Yes, I couldn't quite believe it myself but that's where we found ourselves Saturday night. Our friend Craig works at the prison out there and this is an annual fundraising event. They invited us, the Sawdeys and Prices to head out there for a fun evening. It was a yummy steak and all we could eat crab legs! Fun time with great friends!

We girls spent Friday night baking and decorating Valentine cookies. We had fun and of course Chelcie enjoyed making her "valentine" a plate of cookies too.

Doug had a valet job Saturday night so he took me to lunch on Saturday and it was a wonderful time together.

On Sunday evening we had a special family Valentine dinner: yummy steak, baked potatoes, asparagus and caesar salad. Madison and I worked on a very easy but elegant dessert. Pound cake cut into hearts, layered with raspberry jam and covered in melted dark chocolate...YUMMY.

I love using my beloved Nana's dishes and Grandma Louise's festive red glasses!

We spent some time reading God's definition of love in 1 Corinthians chapter 13. Great discussion about what love is, what it is not and areas that we have to work on. Our challenge: can we replace the word "love" with our name?

I am so thankful to my beautiful family and the love that God has lavished on me through them!
