Lord, hear our prayers....
"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land".......Love, GOD

Last game of the season was a win against Palm Desert for an undefeated season for the Lady Blackhawks! Chelcie's coach praised her for catching in every inning of every game -- U GO GIRL!!!
Ok funny stuff...pic of Chelcie batting is followed by her on 1st base (hit was an RBI whoo hoo!!) She steals 2nd (that's the next pic) next batter kills it and Chelcie turned on the gas as she rounded 3rd (that would be the next pic) and got home to score so fast that I couldn't get the shot until afterward....oh well, I do my best.
Madison was a trooper sitting in the 104 degrees!
Great season girl....now we see what's next?!?!?
Madison has been doing training and conditioning in swimming for the whole month of April. She has just loved it! We began carpooling with her friend Madesyn's family so they take on Mondays and since I work on Thursday nights, Doug takes on Thursdays. I was off last night and I jumped at the chance to get to take the girls. Was I ever shocked at how great Madison is doing after just the first month! She does LOTS of laps in the deep, 9 ft deep, lanes so there's no slackin! She did several free style laps, lots of laps just kicking, some breast stroke laps and backstroke laps. She just glides through the water. I was so blessed to watch her! Love you my little mermaid.
We headed up to the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve this morning with 2 other families. It was absolutely beautiful and the weather was perfect. We took our time and hiked about a mile and a half on two different trails. So much of the time we were walking under a canopy of cottonwoods and red willow trees, which made it very cool and pleasant. One of the highlights was seeing a nest with some long eared owls in it....this was pointed out to us by some bird watchers. We all were peeking at them through the binoculars and it was amazing.
After our hike we had a picnic lunch and were home by 1 o'clock....just in time for a nap!
The girls all had so much fun together and decided that a sleep over was the plan! They had a picnic out in the front yard and built a "fort" to sleep in. Even Chelcie got in on the action....although she ended up sleeping on the couch and not in the fort.
In the morning they had fun taking pictures, playing wii, coloring and then we headed to the movies to see the new Hannah Montana movie...which was great!
So fun to see how much the girls love each other....so hard being so far away tho. Can't wait until we are together again!
Whoo Hoo....did we ever pull over a BIG surprise for the kids! We woke our girls up at 5:30 in the morning and headed off to a surprise location. Finally the girls figured it out when we were right in front of Disneyland and were so excited! It was a great day with 17 of us! The little kids did so great all day. Great memories made today!
So thankful for the risen LORD!!! We had a great morning at church and then headed to Mark & Sandy's for some fun in the sun. The kids all had a great time searching for Easter egs and playing in the pool. It was such a wonderful time together!
About 8:30 this evening, the girls remembered that we had boiled eggs for dyeing...with so much still to do, I admit coloring eggs was not on my list tonight. It was then that I reminded myself that there may not be many more years of this egg coloring fun with my girls. We colored away and had fun! I thanked the girls for the joy that they bring me!!!
